BMW’s Vision EfficientDynamics electric concept car will star along side Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt in this year’s US$140 million December blockbuster, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol
Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol will be the fourth installment of the successful theatrical franchise based on the TV series, which ran from 1966-1973.
BMW’s Vision EfficientDynamics concept car was first shown to CarAdvice at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, and is indeed an impressive machine. Powered by a full ActiveHybrid system that uses a three-cylinder common-rail turbo-diesel with an electric motor on each axle, this space-age car will use less fuel than a Toyota Prius and similar performance to a BMW M3.
