The ultra exclusive Lexus LFA Nurburgring package has established itself as one of the world’s fastest production cars on the infamous Nordschleife track in Germany, with a blistering 7 minutes 14.64-second time around the 20.8 kilometre circuit known as ‘Green Hell’.
The only other cars that have recorded faster lap times on the ‘Ring’ are the Radical and the Gumpert, both of which are hardly what you would call proper production cars.
The time places the Lexus LFA ahead of the likes of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS (7:18), the Dodge Viper ACR (7:22.1) and the Nissan GT-R (7:24.22).
It’s an outstanding achievement for the luxury carmaker that spent many years developing the LFA and a car that is probably one of the most sought after supercars in the world today. The LFA Nurburgring package is just that much more exclusive again.
